Full program description
Registration for this option is limited and is on a first-come, first served basis.
The Hybrid Program will be partially onsite and partially online. You will attend Friday's lectures online and Saturday & Sunday in-person at the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science at the University of California, Berkeley. You will be able to interact with the speaker and ask questions in real-time (via Zoom video conference on Friday and live, in person on Saturday & Sunday).
This activity meets the live, interactive CE coursework requirements of the California State Board of Optometry. For COPE, the Friday activity is considered an 'Interactive Distance Learning' and the Saturday & Sunday activities are considered 'Live' credits. Depending on your state board requirements, the 'Interactive Distance Learning' COPE credit type may or may not be counted as 'Live' credit. Attendees should verify with their state board if this type of online, interactive webinar will count towards live CE credit.
NOTE: All onsite attendees must comply with the COVID-19 campus access requirements for the general public, which includes complying with current face-covering requirements. All requirements are in accordance with Cal/OSHA, CDPH, UCOP, CDC and city of Berkeley guidance and are subject to change. You can review the requirements at coronavirus.berkeley.edu/campus-access
Due to changing COVID-19 conditions, we will continually assess the safety of hosting this event onsite. In the case that we are unable to host you onsite due to circumstances outside of our control, all Hybrid Program attendees will receive full access to the Live Online program.
